System Check Up
10/05/2015
Fall is here, and with the change of seasons brings hot chocolate, pumpkins, hayrides, and cooler weather. Aside from the things most people look forward to, there’s also some things that home owners and landlords start to worry about with cooling temperatures. Cooler temps mean higher risks of freezing pipes, fires from heaters and houses being too cold.
Which means it’s the perfect time for you to have your Titan Alarm system inspected, which YOU can do!
Here are three steps to take to do some routine maintenance on your system!
1. Sensor Utilization.
Make sure that your sensors are in the right areas, as the year goes on people like to rearrange furniture and decorations, so make sure that your sensors have clear lines of sight into each room that you want each sensor to monitor.
Make sure that no chairs, couches, tables or decorations in the way of the sensor.
2. Battery Replacement.
Don’t wait until it’s too late to replace your batteries! Most homeowners will only replace the battery when they receive the alert for a low battery, but the truth is most batteries should be replaced every 3-5 years, but it’s never a bad thing to be too prepared and change it every year. Feel free to call us to set up getting you a new battery if you need it!
3. Maintenance is Key.
Try to maintain your system throughout the year, bare minimum at least once a year. It’s extremely simple to do and it’s fast! If you want to learn how pick up your phone and call Titan Alarm at 602.680.4567 or TEXT us at 623.523.4849
